Drew Carey (nascido Drew Allison Carey em 23 de maio de 1958, em Cleveland, Ohio) é um ator, comediante, apresentador de TV, e fotógrafo esportivo norte-americano. Após servir o Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais dos Estados Unidos, iniciou sua carreira artística e tornou-se conhecido como comediante de stand-up. Tornou-se popular com a criação de sua própria sitcom, The Drew Carey Show (exibido, originalmente, pela rede ABC; no Brasil, foi exibida pelo canal pago Warner Channel), e como apresentador do programa de comédia improvisada Whose Line Is It Anyway? (exibido originalmente pela rede ABC; no Brasil, pelo canal pago Sony Entertainment Television).

Carey trabalhou em filmes, séries, vídeos musicais e é o atual apresentador do programa The Price Is Right, exibido pela rede CBS. Também apresentou o programa Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, que durou somente uma temporada e foi exibido pela canal pago norte-americano GSN. Ele se interessa por jogos esportivos, já tendo trabalhado como fotógrafo esportivo para a Seleção de Futebol dos Estados Unidos, é acionista minoritário do clube de futebol Seattle Sounders Football Club e é membro da calçada da fama da WWE. Em 1997, Carey escreveu sua autobiografia, "Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined", detalhando sua infância e sua carreira televisiva.

Amie Nicole Harwick (May 20, 1981 – February 15, 2020) was an American marriage and family therapist and writer. Raised in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, she moved to Los Angeles, California in 2001, and initially worked as a personal trainer, dancer, bartender, and model. She earned a degree in psychology from California State Polytechnic University, a master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, and a PhD from the non-accredited Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. She practiced as a therapist, specializing in family and sex counseling, and became known for working with clients in West Hollywood.

Harwick authored The New Sex Bible for Women: The Complete Guide to Sexual Self-Awareness and Intimacy (2014) and regularly discussed her work on podcasts, TV, and her YouTube channel. In 2018, she was briefly the fiancée of comedian and actor Drew Carey. During her final years, she worked with Pineapple Support, a nonprofit organization that provides mental health support to members of the adult film industry. She served on the board of directors of Rock to Recovery, a nonprofit that treats addiction and mental health issues with music therapy.

When she was 38 years old, Harwick was murdered by an ex-boyfriend at her Hollywood Hills apartment. Her killer was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
